You are getting more hair and it is still light. It seems as if you may be blonde, if only for a little while. While your hair is coming in, I must admit there still is not that much of it. It's ok, I love you this way and I definitely will be sad when you have to have your first haircut. I'm sure I'll cry .. at least you'll be too young to be embarassed.
Your eyes are still blue. They are big and beautiful and the subject of many compliments. Everywhere we go people love you and you never hesitate to give them reason. You have no fear of strangers and always flash them your luminous smile. You reached your arms out to the hostess at Applebee's when we stopped to eat during our Knoebel's trip. As we waked away Daddy noted that we certainly could never leave you alone for a second -- you would happily go with anyone. I love how loving and trusting you are. You have such a sweet spirit.
You are now a master at crawling. You crawled for the first time to reach me on the morning of 5-24-10, you were 9 months and 3 weeks old. I thought that maybe it was a fluke, but once everyone was home from work you crawled for me and Daddy and it was official. Luckily, we caught you on video that very day. I have now officially seen every one of your "firsts". Of all of the goals I have met in my life, this is the one I am most proud of. I am so thankful to your Daddy for making it work for me to stay home so that I could share your first year and witness your milestones!

You are cruising around now and rarely are not standing up. You pull yourself up on anything and do it with ease. You are currently working on getting back down to a sitting position once you are up. Sometimes you can do it easily and others you have trouble.
You have two teeth now, the front bottom ones. Your first poked through on 5/30/10, just a couple days shy of your 10 month birthday. I noticed it during the day while we spent time with Papa, Lola, and Auntie K as they were in visiting for Memorial Day weekend. I waited until Daddy was home to mention it to anyone because I wanted him to be the first to know. Quickly after, the second tooth popped through. You handled both with ease.

You mostly wear 6-9 month clothes. You're in a size 3 diaper and size 3 shoes. We put you in some 12 month clothes but the bottoms often fall off your waste. You get away with this because, at 10 months, it's cute. You weighed in at 17 lbs 4 oz at your nine month visit (10th percentile). We snuck you on the scale at the doctor's office when we went to Philly for Grandma's appointment. I was excited to see you were 18 lbs 2oz until I realized that was with clothes, shoes, and a (very) wet diaper. You eat very well so we'll just have to wait and see what the scale says as doctor Kathy's office.
We love you, 10 month old! You are a joy.
