Making Progress

That mysterious blonde hair is coming in.

And now there is enough for tub mowhawks.

Grass is Overrated

Look at our baby.

He still does not like grass.

But he is still beautiful.

And happy .. as long as he is not sitting in grass.

Freedom!!

The time has come.

Joey has been released from his baby tub and set free in the big tub.

He kept trying to climb out of his whale tub.

Oh The Agony

The warm weather is here and it is beautiful.

We thought Joey would really enjoy playing outside.

Apparently we forgot to factor in one very real complication.

Mother's Day

The Incredible Traveling Baby

On Easter night we made an impromptu decision to travel to Atlantic City the next morning and take Joey to see the beach.  The weather has been beautiful so we thought it would be nice.  I love that we, as a couple,  are still willing to be spontaneous even with our eight month old. People think that having a baby has to change this type of thing but it really doesn't. Especialy not if you have an incredible traveling baby.

The beach was wonderful and we had so much fun!  I wish we could make this an annual tradition but I don't think it will work when I'm back to teaching.  The weather was warm, but the water was cold!! There was a family with little kids who were playing in the ocean like the water was 85 degrees.  Joey didn't seem to mind the temperature either.  It made me feel old!

 

We went to the aquarium.  They had this cool tank where you could touch the baby sting rays.  They really were so cute, they kept coming up to us like they wanted to be pet.  I think I was the most freaked out to touch one, but I did it anyway.
